the winter, snowmobile directly from your door at Davey's Motel. We
have a large trailer parking area and a heated work shop when you
need to work on your sled. And since we are avid Snowmobilers and
trail groomers, we can give you some pointers on how to enjoy your rides
in the Western U.P.
 Skiers can
choose from 3 major downhill ski areas within 15 miles of Davey's Motel
and there are plenty of groomed trails for the cross-country ski
enthusiast. We also have a wax room for waxing your skis with a waxing bench,
iron, etc.
In
the summer you can explore the nearby natural wonders of the Western
Upper Peninsula. Hike in the Porcupine Mountains, fish in Lake Superior
or inland lakes and rivers or visit nearby waterfalls.
